Blotter is a free perfume finder run by Amirul Al-Haziq. By using it, you agree to these terms. The privacy policy explains how your data is handled.
What Blotter is
Blotter compares perfumes by their published notes and accords. Matches and percentages are estimates, and the notes can be incomplete or wrong. It can't smell anything for you, so try a perfume before you buy it.
Blotter doesn't sell perfume and isn't affiliated with any fragrance house, shop or review site. Brand and perfume names belong to their owners. "Dupe" labels reflect what reviewers and dupe guides say, not a finding by Blotter.
Your lists and Sync
- What you add stays yours. You let Blotter store it so that Sync can work.
- Keep your sync code private. Anyone who has it can see and change your synced lists.
- Blotter can't recover a lost code. If you lose the code and every connected device, your synced lists are gone.
- Unused synced lists are deleted, as the privacy policy describes.
Fair use
Don't try to break, overload or get around the limits of Blotter, or access synced lists that aren't yours. Blotter can block use that does.
Where the data comes from
Perfume notes and descriptions are adapted from the Scento Perfume Database, licensed CC BY 4.0, and from brand and retailer listings. Many entries were also cross-checked against a public dataset of Parfumo listings.

No guarantees
Blotter is free and provided as it is. It may change, go offline or stop at any time, and synced lists aren't guaranteed to be kept, so don't rely on it as your only copy.
As far as the law allows, Amirul Al-Haziq isn't liable for losses from using Blotter, including perfume you buy because of it or lists you lose. Nothing here limits rights that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
Changes and law
If these terms change, the date at the top changes too. Using Blotter after that means you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
